The Faces Behind Dr Shoe
Dr Shoe was born from a moment of panic that every fashion enthusiast understands. On the night of his college farewell, our founder Mr. Anuj Katiyar faced a crisis—his pristine white sneakers were stained and damaged just hours before the event. With no time to spare, he resorted to a desperate combination of a wet cloth and Fevikwik, hoping the makeshift solution would last the night.
It did—barely. But the aftermath of peeling adhesive and persistent stains highlighted a frustrating reality: there was nowhere to turn for professional sneaker restoration. Traditional cobblers lacked expertise with modern materials, while dry cleaners offered only basic surface cleaning.
When he shared this dilemma with his friend Mr. Ajit Yadav, the response was telling. Without a word, Ajit disappeared, returning moments later with his own worn-out boots in hand. That silent exchange confirmed what they both knew—they had identified a universal problem with no adequate solution.
Today, our team of restoration specialists combines traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge techniques, each sharing our founders' passion for bringing beloved possessions back to life.
